CryptoNest ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the rights you have over your data when you use our website and services.
1. Information we collect
We collect the email address you use to sign up, authentication metadata (such as session tokens and login timestamps), and the wallet addresses, watchlists and preferences you choose to add. We never ask for or store seed phrases or private keys.
2. How we use your data
Your data is used solely to operate the service: authenticate you, sync your watchlists across devices, display your portfolio, send security notifications, and improve product reliability. We do not sell your personal data.
3. Legal bases
We process personal data on the basis of (a) performance of the contract you enter into when creating an account, (b) our legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, and (c) your consent where required by applicable law.
4. Third-party processors
We rely on trusted infrastructure providers (database, authentication, market-price APIs such as CoinGecko, email delivery). These providers are contractually bound to safeguard your data and only process it on our behalf.
5. Data retention
Account data is retained while your account is active. If you delete your account, personal data is removed within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (for example, fraud prevention or tax records).
6. International transfers
Where data is transferred outside your country of residence, we use appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses to protect your information.
7. Your rights
You can request access, correction, export or deletion of your personal data, or object to certain processing, by contacting support@cryptonest.life. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
8. Security
We use industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, and follow the principle of least privilege for internal access. No system is perfectly secure; please use a strong, unique password and enable any available account protections.
9. Children
CryptoNest is not directed to anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice before they take effect.
